About Us

West London’s newest theatre company, the Irish Network of Dramatic Arts (INDA), launched its first season with a production of ‘Big Maggie’ at the Tabard in Turnham Green on 28th of March 2006.

‘Big Maggie’ was very well received by the public. Extra performances had to be scheduled in during the last week of the run, to meet popular demand.

The Irish Network of Dramatic Arts was set up by Irish actors in London who want more Irish drama on stage. ‘Big Maggie’, its first show, was written by John B Keane and is set in Kerry in the early 1960s. It tells the story of woman coming out of the shadow of her husband following 25 years of marriage.

The company plans to perform not only in London, but also in other parts of England and Ireland. The principals behind the company, Tom Begley and Susan Cummins have worked together many times over a number of years, both onstage and in films.
